Ranked number 10 in the Beatport most charted artists in 2015, last year was undoubtedly Nora en Pure’s most prolific to date with a series of refreshing remixes and originals released on the Enormous Tunes imprint. Nora’s ‘Into The Wild’ EP, which included the colossal ‘U Got My Body’, kicked the year off. ‘Saltwater (2015 Rework)’ followed and went straight to the Beatport Top 100 Charts, remaining in the Top 50 for months after its release.

Only two months into 2016, Nora has already released a new track: Nora en Pure & Redondo ‘I Got To Do’ (https://soundcloud.com/spinnin-deep/nora-en-pure-redondo-i-got-to-do-available-february-22), with another track — Faithless ‘I Was There’ (Nora en Pure Remix) — to be released soon.

An awesome supporting line-up will be announced for each city soon.

About Nora en Pure

Nora En Pure is the Swiss Deep & Indie House sensation that is rippling through the dance music world with her beautiful blend of electronic beats.

Leading listeners out of the darker realms of deep house with intricate instrumentals and enlightening melodies, every track she gets her hands on turns to gold, and every performance she gives leaves the audience in awe.

BALLITO NEW YEAR’S EVE STREET PARTY KNOCKS IT OUT OF THE PARK!

NYE Ballito

Lazers, epic production, smoke effects and thumping tunes!  That’s how Ballito’s happy holiday-makers and residents welcomed in the New Year at G&G Productions’ annual NYE street party.  Thousands of party-goers flocked to Sandra Road from 6pm and by the time Veranda Panda came on at 8pm, the crowd was full and the Shap Shap was flowing.  Das Kapital and Kyle Worde got everyone going with their energetic sets with electronic DJ dual Goldfish welcoming in the New Year and knocking it out of the park with their stream of crowd-pleasing hits.  Pascal and Pearce followed and Royal K closed the dance floor at 3am.  With three additional dance floors to choose from, there were plenty of genres for revelers to choose from.

Now in its 11th year, the event has cemented its place as being one of the top NYE events in Africa and the pride of Durban’s North Coast.

Of course all great parties need great partners, so big ups to Shap Shap Crafted Premium Cider and Red Square Reload for the thirst-quenching fun.

STRETCH EXPERIENTIAL REAFFIRMS ITS CREDS AS TOP AGENCY FOR TOP BRANDS WITH SEVEN NEW BUSINESS WINS

StretchStretch Experiential Marketing

Award-winning experiential marketing agency, Stretch Experiential, is set to the end 2015 on a high following no less than seven new business wins across a range of clients and industries.

The Cape Town-based agency has been growing from strength to strength as it continues to deliver strategic and innovative concepts and brand activations for its clients. Off the back of that smart thinking and airtight execution, several new clients have awarded the agency their business, while some existing clients have eagerly renewed.

One of the biggest new accounts in Stretch’s portfolio is Standard Bank. An important pillar for the bank is its Graduate Recruitment Programme. Stretch will now head up the activation and strategic roll-out for how the bank talks to, and engages with, graduates and potential new recruits.

Tamsyn Els, the Head of Young Talent in South Africa, at Standard Bank: “The partnership between Stretch and the Standard Bank Young Talent team, was created through a shared vision to innovate, engage and create a memorable brand experience, for Africa’s Young Talent, with the intent of leading and disrupting the thinking of a generation”

Another key component to the account is Stretch’s ability to utilise its social media capabilities. In addition to the activation piece of the business, the agency will also run the social media for Standard Bank’s Graduate Recruitment Programme. A dedicated and skilled social media manager has been appointed to effectively manage this new growth area for Stretch.

Following a three-way pitch at the end of 2014 for Chivas’ Win the Right Way launch, Stretch has been appointed the experiential partner for the 2015/16 financial year across multiple campaigns, including the second edition of the brand’s ‘The Venture’ in SA.

Mother brand, Chivas Regal, has also appointed the agency for the remainder of 2015 and into 2016, launching the pinnacle of the Chivas range, Chivas The Icon. Stretch created the world’s most luxurious vending machine for the launching of a prestigious R50k bottle of whiskey in South Africa.

Glenlivet awarded Stretch its experiential business after the agency won a four-way pitch and will now be responsible for rolling out a number of campaigns over into 2016, including Whiskey Live in November and also the Legacy Talks; four talks throughout the year which feature a variety of speakers in the business world.

In need of a creative way to activate in the SA market, Twisp has appointed Stretch as its experiential agency for the 2015/16 season after a three-way pitch. Stretch have introduced the Twisp Sensorium creating a multi-sensory experience at a variety of locations across SA.

Existing client, Lipton Ice Tea, put Stretch up against another agency and again realised the agency’s value by renewing their contract for a third year in a row. Stretch will be managing Lipton’s summer activations.

“The majority of the new business comes from pitching against other agencies. While this is a traditional way of winning new clients, it’s an incredibly valuable exercise for our team,” says Mike Silver, Stretch Experiential Managing Director. “The most exciting development for the agency is that many of these wins come with extended partnership agreements attached to them with Stretch even playing a lead role in some cases’.
